Classes We Offer

After significant demand, we are now pleased to be able to offer a variety of private classes from our address in CR7 (London only).

Our classes are the perfect platform for to further your baking ambitions. Whether you’re a novice or an expert, the classes are suitable for all. They include modules on baking, decorating, ganaching and sugar flowers.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to book any class with the remaining balance due on the first day of the class. In the unfortunate event that we have to cancel a class a full refund will be given.

Please note that all notes and techniques are for your personal use and not to be replicated for your own classes.

Baking Basics - £450

One Day Class

A  full day class covering the baking essentials. Learn how to bake the perfect vanilla, chocolate and red velvet sponge, as well as making a variety of frosting and fillings  including chocolate ganache, cream cheese frosting, caramel and the popular Swiss meringue buttercream. Torting, filling and masking the cakes with buttercream to achieve the trending ‘sharp edged’ finish and chocolate drip is also included as well as piping techniques on a set of cupcakes.

Desserts (2 day) £375

Primarily focused on dessert tables this class is perfect for those looking to expand their business and knowledge of all things sweets. You will go on to create an array of delicious desserts, both baked and unbaked which will provide you with a solid foundation in dessert making. Desserts taught: Chocolate fudge brownies, chocolate and fruit mousses, cheesecakes and flavour variations (shot glasses), raspberry and blueberry frangipane tart (inc recipe for sweet pastry), salted caramel and chocolate tart, cake pops and layered cake slices. You will take home all desserts to enjoy!

Macaron class £150

Learn how to perfect the art of macarons. From colouring to piping, you will learn the techniques required to make this popular sweet treat and finish off by filling with swiss-meringue buttercream.

Buttercream cakes - £225

Full Day Class

This class (10.30am – 4.30pm) takes you through the basics of filling and layering an 8” inch cake. You will learn how to make a light and tasty swiss meringue buttercream and ice the cake to achieve a neat finish with sharp edges. You will also learn how to colour chocolate for drips and simple decorations. All cakes are pre-baked.

Advanced Wedding Cakes - £750

A 3-day class teaching you all there is to know about creating the perfect wedding cake from design to transportation! From filling and ganaching round and square cakes to achieving super sharp edges and a variety of essential decorative skills required for this competitive market, to dowelling and stacking your 3 tier iced wedding cake.

Skills taught in this intensive 3-day class include

  • Ganaching to acheive sharp edges
  • Colouring and icing 
  • Ruffles, use of moulds and other decorative techniques
  • sugar flowers
  • Use of separators
  • Stacking and transporting cakes
  • Pricing

    The main focus of this class is on achieving sharp edges on round and square cakes. Sugar flowers include wired and non-wired filler flowers and the option of roses or peonies. All cakes are pre-baked. One 8” inch round and one 8” inch square cake to be ganached and iced. You will take home a 3-tier round cake (part dummy) and an 8” inch square cake. Comprehensive notes provided.

Sharp edges- Single tier £230

This one day in-depth class will take you through levelling, filling and ganaching an 8″ cake to achieve super sharp edges. You will go onto colour sugar paste and cover the cake flawlessly, as well as learning tips and tricks on how to achieve perfect results each time. 
Square tier £250

Cupcake Classes - £300

This two day class includes decorating 24 cupcakes toppers with various techniques.  The class covers:

* Colouring sugar paste and gum paste
* Small sugar roses and sugar flowers (non-wired)
* Ruffles, use of moulds, stencils, bows and cupcake boards.

Option to add a giant cupcake, £400.

Complete Sugar Flowers - £400

A colourful 3-day class teaching you how to create a variety of stunning sugar flowers. Flowers include roses, open peonies, closed peonies, dhalias, sweet peas, and a variety of wired filler flowers, buds and leaves.
